Integration, Intercultural Week protagonist of the Board (27/05/2010)

Councillors Social Care, Antonio Calderon, and Education, Josefa Maroto, today visited the College Board of Trustees Sacred Heart of Jesus to participate in activities that are part of the program A school open to other cultures, who perform above and councils the collaboration of the Association Welcomes Cartagena Murcia.

Calderón both to Maroto, the highlight of this event has been the high level of participation in the organization and development of the various actions that have been held throughout the week, and the great work being done in center for integration.

For Social Care Councillor, is a task we have to be done among all since the phenomenon of immigration is a reality that surrounds us and we must seize the advantages it brings to everyone.

The activities have been developed 25 to May 27, highlighting a Tales of the World Exhibition, which have been created by students at the school, the representation of the play Sing me a story, also by the students and double session they could enjoy all students, and families thereof.

Another of the initiatives included in this week Intercultural have been a battery of the World Games, and Music and dances from different cultures, so that the students have been able to share different ways to have fun, relate to other countries through the game and music.

Finally, today, coinciding with the end of the week and the visit of Aldermen, have desarroladoTalleres of balloon twisting, and Arabic Writing Tattoo deHenna.

Activities closed with a sweet tasting several countries prepared by parents and teachers at the school.
