Fifteen Editor workshop students receive their diplomas Scaffolding (26/04/2010)

The fifteen students who participated in the fourth edition of Occupational Workshop Editor Scaffolding, conducted by the ADLE in collaboration with the empresaThyssenKrupp Xervon will receive on Tuesday April 27 las12: 35 hours their diplomas accredited overcoming this course in a ceremony to be held in the Ceremonial Hall of the Palace Hall.

The event will be attended by the Councillor for Employment, Ruth Collins, the Director of the Agency of Local Development and Employment, Francisco García-Valenzuela, Commercial Advisor, Delegate Luis Blaya and Cartagena, Florencio Romero Xervon Thyssenkrupp Company .

The course has a duration of 230 hours, of which 114 have been theoretical, 100 practices and 16 aimed at assessing knowledge.

The development of the training has been taught in their fullest extent, on site of ThyssenKrupp in Lomas del Albujón, assuming the Local Development Agency and Employment's commitment to transfer students from Cartagena to the training site and return.

The training content of the course have been:

Organization of work.

Preparation, erection and removal of scaffolding tubes.

Driving self-propelled trucks and auxiliary equipment handling lifting.

Prevention of occupational hazards, basic level.

First aid and basic module to work in petrochemical industry.

60 students have been trained (15 per issue) in the scaffolding, there by the company Thyssenkrupp a commitment to hire at least 60% of students who have successfully completed training.

Currently 40% of students who have completed this training activity, have been hired by the company Thyssenkrupp.
