A college degree may be possible but have not studied beyond high school or selectivity.
In the UPCT been under consideration yesterday through Wednesday 106 people in the entrance exams for people over 25 and 45, aimed at those who do not have direct access to university studies.
Specifically, 66 students were submitted to tests for over 25 years, and forty to those over 45 years.
Just access for over 45 years provides the main novelty this year.
For the coordinator of the evidence in the UPCT, Juan Ignacio Moreno, "was created to accommodate the concerns of a very large group of people with ability and cultural background, and that for certain reasons in his youth did not have access to university ".
The admission tests for over 25 provide for a general part in which students must perform a text analysis, an exercise in Spanish and other foreign language, and a specific part that is intended to assess the skills, abilities and qualifications of candidates for further studies and to overcome them the option chosen.
To this end, students are asked to choose a branch of the sciences, engineering and architecture, health sciences, social sciences or arts and humanities.
In the case of tests for over 45 years, tests have been simplified and include a text comment period and a Castilian tongue, and a personal interview.
The tests are being developed in the Old Navy Hospital in the afternoon for tests over 25 years.
Those over 45 years made their evidence yesterday afternoon, and the subsequent interview was held on 26, 27 and 28 April.
