Between Strings and Metals and Brass has semifinalists (10/03/2010)

The Brass method was charged on Tuesday to break the ice of the XIII edition of the contest between strings and brass, with the conclusion of the first semifinal in which ten contestants participated, resulting selected Alejandro Sánchez García, Juan González Martínez, Laura Lledó Martínez, Juan Miguel Pérez Martínez, Rosa María Jiménez and Saura Martínez Lorenzo Caravaca.

These semi-finalists, nominated by the jury decision Bath Mengual Lucas, José Antonio Muñoz Osete, Barrachina José Ibáñez, José Antonio Barceló and José Antonio Mateo Cerdan, all professionals from different academies and learning centers throughout the region of Murcia, the final will be held on Tuesday 13 April from 19.00 hours.

On the other hand, on Wednesday, starting at 18.00 hours, and tomorrow Thursday at 17.00 hours, the competition continues with the percussion and string arrangements, respectively.

Admission to the concert to be held in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, is free to fill seats.

The jury's final decision will be announced at the closing of this contest, which will be held on May 7 at the Auditorium of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena at 20.00, which will receive their awards.

In the closing ceremony shall also the distribution of diplomas to all participants who have reached the Final.

Similarly, they provide a certificate of participation established by the Department of Youth and Music Conservatory of Cartagena to those who request it.

We recall that the prizes to those who choose the semifinalists are: a first prize of 700 euros and a second $ 300.
