Students of Economics and Business in Spain held its meeting at UPCT (03/03/2010)

Thirty representatives of fourteen Spanish universities where they are studying Economics and Business Administration meeting in Cartagena from Friday and over the next weekend to discuss matters of interest related to college life.

Among other topics discussed surveys to see if the current curricula are adapted to the reality of the labor market.

It is also expected to deal with matters such as business practices in the new degree, national and international grants and the criteria to remain in college.

The opening ceremony of the State Assembly of representatives of students of Economics and Business will be held Friday at 16.00 pm in the Auditorium of the Old Barracks Seamanship Instruction (CIM), the presence of the Vice Chancellor of Student , Francisco Martinez, and the Dean of the Faculty of Business Sciences, Antonio García Sánchez.

Meetings will be held on Friday afternoons and all day Saturday.

Representatives of students who have confirmed their attendance so far come from the universities of Alicante, Navarra, Cordoba, Salamanca, Vigo and Alcala, among others.

The CEO of the Center of the Faculty of Business of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Pedro Requena, said that "this is the first time that such meeting is held in the region, and we thought that the new School building will be an excellent venue to show representatives of universities in Spain.. "

Also like to point out that "have been supported by the Dean of our faculty at all times, and the Association of Economists and the Commercial Graduates Association and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Cartagena."
