The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, and the Minister of Health, María Ángeles Palacios, have laid the foundation stone for the construction of the new primary care center of the trough to be completed in less than a year.
The architect of the new office, Antonio Vallejo Alberola, explained that the building will be built in an area of 440 square meters on one floor.
He stressed that it will be fully accessible for disabled and have no barriers.
Vallejo has reported that the office will consist of six consultations: a nursing priests, two family medicine, a general nursing, another one for pediatrics and child nursing.
These facilities, added the architect, supplemented by three to three waiting rooms, administration and reception areas, a store, toilets and a lounge for staff health.
The new primary care center located in the Discovery of America Avenida corner with Viña del Mar, will be built, Palacios reported in municipal land of 2,187 square meters and that the budget allocation has been about 466,000 euros.
Currently, the counseling is recorded in the area over a thousand cards of users, being able to meet with the new office to about 4,000.
NEW ROUNDABOUT
As explained by the mayor at the confluence of the streets of America Discovery Avenue Street Viña del Mar, in front of the doctor's future, a new roundabout will be installed at the request of the neighbors, being a very troubled crossing.
