Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez, along with the honorary president of the Anglers Club of Albacore, Pedro Ñíguez Soriano, today presented the Fishing Contest XX Cristo de Medinaceli, the VII National Open Sea Fishing from a boat moored, which held on 7 March, and the Eighth National Marine Fisheries Open from coast to cast, to be held in May.
Ñíguez explained that the novelty in this year is that the usual categories (total, youth, children and disabled) is joined by the Third Age, which this year is presentanequipos prestigious World Cup, to participate in contests .
The deadline for the fly fishing competition, held on Sunday, ends on Thursday March 4, at 20:00.
Last year we were about a hundred people from all over Spain.
Ñíguez also stressed that the Region of Murcia, fishermen will also come Balearic Islands, Catalonia, Valencia, Almeria, Madrid and Huelva.
Both tests of the fishing contest is open to national category, with permission from the Spanish Federation of Fishing and Casting, Sports Council and Sports General Directorate of the Region of Murcia.
