The South Bank roundabout of La Manga, virtually complete (21/01/2010)

This summer the traffic going through La Manga in high season, about 60,000 vehicles a day, will be more fluid through the entry into operation of the new roundabout at the Gran Via, the height of the South Bank, are practically finished cuyasobras and its entry into service is imminent.

The new roundabout, the first stone was laid at the beginning of last November, is at the confluence of the South Bank of the Mar Menor to La Manga, and consists of a central island of 23 meters in diameter, and two lane 3.5 meters wide.

The budget for this project amounts to 217,000 euros, financed by the Ministry of Public Works and the City of Cartagena.
