Pedro Zarraluki talk about it that we like (19/01/2010)

The Catalan writer Peter Zarraluki, opting Mandarache Prize for his novel All that we love (Destiny, 2008), explained his work is an optimistic the relationship between a father and son in the last stage of life .

The novel All that we love so much has been launched today by its author Peter Zarraluki, at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), along with Ruth María Collado, Councillor for Youth, and Maria José Benitez, host of the work.

The writer continues the program of meetings with Mandarache Project author and does between the hours of today and tomorrow for college students and high school.

In the meeting this morning with 600 students, Zarraluki wanted to create a climate of dialogue environment for youth to express their personal experiences with their parents.

Pedro Zarraluki stressed he enjoyed working on his book trying to collect various aspects of life such as youth and old age.

Thus, the author has stated that his work attempts to address the reader with the problems of life in general and also to see the reality, and that happiness exists but not in its fullness.

The play is set in a Mediterranean environment and narrates the life of the parent of his hometown with the idea of getting to Tibet and finally ends up in a town halfway, which will begin its new life.

The novel All that we love is not divided into chapters and Zarraluki explained that he characterized as a nonlinear author because you like hitting jumps in time to continually express feelings constantly.

UPCOMING

The writer, winner of previous works with major awards including the Herralde Novel or Nadal Prize, will continue this afternoon at the 20 hours, a meeting with university and open to the general public CajaMurcia (Icue Square).

Finally, tomorrow will be held January 20 meeting with other new students, this is with students of the Instituto Juan Sebastian Elcano.

Zarraluki's visit precedes the last of the three finalists, Kiko Amat, who in February presented Rompepistas (Anagram, 2009) to thousands of readers of Cartagena during the April vote that they have liked most of the three .
