The councilman of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, delivered last week to 32,037 euros ensubvenciones coordinating the six neighborhoods of our city, which develop community programs for drug addiction deprevención.
These coordinators bring together the areas of population tThe Algar, La Palma, El Llano del Beal, Los Mateos, Mediterranean and Slum Housing Villalba.
In totalson 39 groups that make up these six coordinators, who work on the following objectives:
Encourage the acquisition of healthy habits, especially in children and youth.
Plan and carry out training activities in the field of health.
Encourage coordination of the various associations and institutions of the people.
Integrate drug prevention activities in leisure associations.
Sensitize young people about the risks associated with alcohol consumption.
Awareness and awareness of different sectors of the population in relation to the drug problem, to promote healthy lifestyles.
Promote alternative employment, cultural and leisure activities among children and youth.
Provide educational criteria, indicators and strategies for prevention in relation to drug use.
