Youth organizes two basic courses in Leisure (03/12/2009)

Youth Councillor, Ruth Maria Collado, today introduced the two courses in your area supports about 50 percent, related to basic training in free time, and taught Animation Schools' Animation and Adventure 'and' Maraqua 'between January and June.

The first course is the Principal of Leisure, in charge of the School of Entertainment and Leisure Education in Maraqua, aimed to educate people to coordinate and lead a team of instructors to organize cultural and recreational activities for to children and youth, both urban and rural.

The maximum is 30 students and the course includes a module of 40 hours of content that will provide the school, which has chosen to focus on everything related to the use of new technologies.

A total of 300 hours, 200 in the lecture phase and 100 hours in the practical phase.

Will be held from January 15 to June 12, Fridays and Saturdays and one weekend per month will intensively including Sundays, in the local office of the Association of Residents of Garden City.

The registration fee is 250 euros.

In addition, the School of Entertainment and Leisure Education in the 'Entertainment and Adventure' will teach a course Monitors Training Leisure and Recreation, to strong demand in the sector, aimed at people who want to start or work for professionally or voluntarily in these fields.

The course consists of 250 hours, 160 90 hours of theory and practice, being the venue of the Youth Resource Centre, from 19 February to 22 May and the registration fee is 230 euros.

Once passed both courses, students will receive the official title granted by the Regional School of Animation and Leisure.

HOSTEL NEAR A POINT QUARRY

Youth Councillor, Ruth Maria Collado, announced that the refurbishment of the Youth Hostel Canteras, in regard to the performance of larger, on the facade and entrances, is now complete and missing work around : a sports court, a climbing wall and a playground with swings.

According to the Councillor, the Workshop School has adapted the gardens, have done a wonderful job and we hope that by late 2010 or early 2011, the complex is fully operational.

What is the management of the hostel and the tavern we want to contract out this next January.
