The ADE (Close to elite sports), the third consecutive year that starts the Sports Council of the City of Cartagena, on Monday started the course with an activity that took place at the Municipal Sports Pavilion.
The activity began with the visit and explain the functions that the different rooms and areas of the facility.
The students first visited was the multipurpose room where they did aerobics and were able to attend a spinning class by one of the instructors in charge.
Thereafter, in quiet, the students met the volleyball players in Cartagena Tala South and received a brief explanation about the positions of each of the players and the rules of the sport.
Finally the students had contact through the Taekwondo Martial Arts Club Cartagena.
The president of the Regional Federation of Taekwondo, José Antonio Solano explained the rules of sport and the origins of this martial art.
Then, the students participated in a practical class that taught the coach of the Martial Arts Club Cartagena, Elena Matrán.
The visit concluded with the presentation of gifts, both from the Martial Arts Club, which gave the center a Kimono intercultural signed by the students of Taekwondo, as part of the Intercultural Center and the Department of Sports, which also provided a detailed memorial .
On Thursday November 19 at 11:00 ADE will continue the program with a visit by the CP Virgen de Begoña at City Hall facilities Table Tennis Specific to make contact with clubs table tennis men's and female and UCAM Floymape UCAM Cartagena respectively.
The ADE is organized by the Sports Council of Cartagena and has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, Graduate College of Physical Education and Sport in the Region of Murcia and the Club Sport for All Cartagena.
