The project Youth Entrepreneurship Strategies (YES), which involved the Local Development Agency and Employment, has been one of those selected for the second round of Interreg IVC, with the objective of promoting entrepreneurial culture and entrepreneurial mindset among younger,, integrating entrepreneurship in education, using the skills and competencies of creativity, innovation, decision making and teamwork.
With a total budget of 1,521,199 euros, the project involves eight European Union countries such as France, Sweden, Estonia, Poland, Slovak Republic, Ireland, Finland and Spain.
The representation of our country is made by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the Region, which in turn is composed of the ADLE, the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the European Centre for Business Innovation and CEEIM Murcia City Council Moratalla.
Project implementation is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2010, lasting 30 months, and the functions of the Agency is to develop activities for young people in the municipality of Cartagena, and to disseminate and transfer good practice detected through communications and organization of international conferences.
