Starts the fifth edition of the Forum on Social Aranzadi UPCT (28/10/2009)

Tomorrow, Thursday October 29 begins the fifth edition of the Social Forum of Cartagena Aranzadi Editorial Aranzadi organized in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.

The Aranzadi Social Forum sessions will be held in Cartagena de Grados Hall of the Old Naval Hospital (Campus Muralla del Mar) in the afternoon.

At the opening session to be held on Thursday at 19.00 pm, the speaker will be Professor D.

Alfredo Montoya Melgar, professor emeritus of Labour and Social Security of the Complutense University and Doctor Honoris Causa from the University Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid), Murcia and Central del Este (Dominican Republic) who will speak on Labour Law to the economic crisis (historical perspective).

Aranzadi Social Forum is a meeting of professionals, based on practice and discussion and for the continuous updating of knowledge in the field of industrial relations and social security.

Currently being developed in fourteen Spanish cities including Madrid, Bilbao, Pamplona, Valencia, Murcia and Zaragoza.

In each venue, the Forum has a permanent cadre of teachers in the nine sessions that integrate (one per month between October 2009 and June 2010) review major policy developments, literature and jurisprudence.

1 of Cartagena, presents the doctrine of Social Courts of Murcia and Cartagena, the Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Murcia, José Luján Alcaraz, Professor of Labour Law and Social Security of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and Carmen Sánchez Trigueros, Professor of Labour Law and Social Security at the University of Murcia and University Training Director ISEN (center affiliated to the University of Murcia), summarizes the main policy developments and literature of the month.

Each session is completed with the solo exhibition of a current topic by a guest speaker for the occasion.
