Work on town's sports facilities are a step forward (17/10/2009)

Advances in the works that the City Council are carried out in councils during this year, as far as sports facilities are concerned, patents are beginning to get through the most significant and far-reaching, such as indoor pools Well Strait and The Aljorra, or sports pavilions of La Palma and El Albujón.

In the case of swimming pools, projects both included in Plan E, the idea is to expand the supply of places to 2,400 new users, which has been covered and reformed in Pozo Estrecho, where details are being finalized and is being La Aljorra running, start-ups.

As for the other two flagship projects, the halls of La Palma and El Albujón, including both in the Sports Facilities Plan financed by Autonomous Community Hall and is bidding for modern designs that allow for cultural activities, apart from the purely sporting , although in the case of twin buildings of La Palma, more advanced, is expected to be built later this year and in the El Albujón, which was launched later, completion of works in early 2010.

NARROW POOL WELL

PALM PAVILION

Included in the Sports Facilities Plan is funded jointly by City and Regional Government, the Sports Hall of La Palma was begun in October 2008 and is in the final stretch, with 95 percent of the work performed, which later this year will be completed.

This space is intended as more than a facility, since its design is intended to use the building as an enclosed space for cultural activities.

FLAG OF THE Albujón

Like the Pavilion of La Palma, El Albujón is another project that is included in the Sports Facilities Plan be jointly funded by the City and the region.

ACTIONS IN OTHER DISTRICTS AND REPRESENTATIVES

Remember that, under Plan E, the City Council has launched this year fourteen other sports performances, most of them in neighborhoods and county, in excess of five million euro budget, such as building a Alumbres indoor sports court, two separate dressing rooms for the tracks of Vista Alegre and Isla Plana, and basic sports facilities San Antón and the Barrio Virgen de la Caridad.

Other works have been easier, as the enclosure of the core sports of Los Belones, development of a sports area in Playa Honda, two sports courts in Los Urrutias and La Aparecida, improved sports flooring and lighting and José María Lapuerta installation of this type of paving and lighting in La Puebla, annexed to the health center.

This is in regard to the districts and councils, as the center is carrying out the project of creating an urban sports area on the street Carlos III, next to the Campus de Alfonso XIII.
