Intercepted another 35 immigrants who arrived aboard three boats (06/10/2009)

A total of thirty-five illegal immigrants of Algerian origin, who had traveled from his country to the Spanish coast aboard three boats have been intercepted in the last hours by the monitoring devices of the sea and coastline that are activated in Region of Murcia.

The first of these boats was intercepted early in last night by a patrol of the Customs Surveillance Service, which gave notice to Salvage, which he sent to the area of the island of tailings a vessel to which they were transhipped and then taken to the port of Cartagena the eleven people aboard the skiff.

Already today, about 1.30 hours, the Customs Surveillance Service intercepted a second small boat with thirteen people aboard, which were carried by the same patrol the port of Cartagena, where as the former were treated by members of the Red Cross.

Finally, the other eleven illegal immigrants were intercepted by the Civil Guard in the area of tailings.

Like the others, are all male and older and have been available to the National Police for the investigation of the relevant files back to their country of origin.
