Throughout the summer, from July 1 until September 4, the Municipal Social Services City of Cartagena with the Neighborhood Association of the District Virgen de la Caridad, the Women's Awakening and OJE Cartagena, have organized a series of varied activities that have developed in different areas of the district and which have involved 350 residents of all ages.
The activities that have been made in recent months have been:

Guitar lesson workshop
Ludo Championship
Domino Championship
Summer Cinema (Park Plaza Athenas)
Kite-making workshop and flying display
Cultural water park trip
Popular Games
At the close of the summer program has been Antonio Calderón Rodríguez, Councillor for Social Care, which has awarded trophies, medals and diplomas for participants of all sports competitions, games and other activities that have been made to throughout the summer.
To finish this event took place an exhibition of dance Sevillanas and popular games.
To finish the year 2009 are planned in the neighborhood several activities such as lectures, panel discussions and video-forum discussions of interest to the public.
