The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, along with the mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, today attended the first training of the participating boats in the final circuit candle 'Audi MedCup 2009', held in the port city from 14 to 18 September, where they compete for a total of 16 ships from 12 different countries.

Throughout the week will take place a score of activities and shows parallels to the race, among which includes the Village Office, the Esplanade of Heroes of Cavite, an area dedicated to visitors about the progress of the race and where held many exhibitions and activities related to the event.
