Wide range of cultural programming to the Department of Education for 2009/2010 (09/09/2009)

Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, this morning the new programs at the academic year 2009/2010, and will feature a variety of activities, subsidized and scholarships for the educational community, highlighting the extensive coordination and integration with a host of municipal services and Autonomy.

The new program offers educational exhibits, theater performances, concerts, family history programs and staff development activities, which are distributed along the three quarters for the school year, and that allow students to complete their academic and formacxión cultural.

Among the new highlights of cultural activities organized alongside the Audi MedCup event to be held in Cartagena from 14 to 19 September.

Will be 27 groups from different schools who will visit the cultural circuit established in the port area in the mornings from 10.00 hours to 13.00 hours.

To participate in these activities will facilitate the transportation, so that all schools have access to all activities on an equal footing.

With regard to educational exhibitions, highlights the diversity in you, organized in collaboration with the Columbarium, the Ministry of Education and the European Social Fund, which will be presented at the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy, September 29 to October 30 in time from 9.30 to 13, 30 and from 17 to 20 hours, Monday through Friday.

This interactive exhibition aims to show the different cultures, demonstrating prejudice in society.

Visitors will be able to go 4 spaces: a space of difference, noise space discrimination, space reconnaissance and space diversity.

The arts program includes drama, to be held in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy, and which include the performance of a play in English.

Also, develop a family concerts, which feature prominently in the programming, following the success in previous years.

The concerts will be held Saturday at 12, pm in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music, and are aimed at children from 5 years old accompanied by their families.

History programs this year are refurbished to meet the new range of museums in the city.

Arqua Museum, the Museo del Teatro Romano and some archaeological sites in Port of Cultures will be visited by pupils and teachers with entry free of charge, subsidized by the Department of Education, keeping visits to the Archaeological Museum, with its workshops and activities.

The new programming to offer the Department of Education for this course is already in all schools and the AMPAS in these centers from September 1 to enable interested parties to apply to participate in activities they want.

ACTION PLANS OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION
