Concludes the second phase of Labor in Cartagena (30/07/2009)

The second phase of Labor has ended today with the presentation of diplomas to 45 students in the courses 'Warehouse Management', 'Cleaning of surfaces and furnishings of buildings and facilities "and" health care for dependent older partner' in a event which took place at the Palace Hall, attended by the Councillor for Youth and Employment, Ruth Collins, the directors of the Municipal Institute of Social Services and the ADLE, technical project managers, students, teachers and business representatives where practices have been made.

This project is sponsored by the Agency of Local Development and Employment, in collaboration with the Municipal Institute of Social Services and funded by the European Social Fund.

Its aim is to promote training and employment and is directed to the group of unemployed people at risk of social exclusion and greater difficulty in finding labor market.

Students have received specific training lasting 250 hours. You doing routes of socio-labor with individualized tutoring, additional training, and finally have done internships in companies with a duration of 120 hours each sectors related to the different courses.

The companies have collaborated to carry out such practices have been:

For the course 'Warehouse Management': Aquagest, Eroski, Kiabi and Terrapilar.

For the course 'Clean surfaces and furnishings of buildings and premises': Cleaning Southeast and Telelimpieza.

For the course "health care for dependent older partner ': Residential House, The Golden Age Messengers of Peace, Los Almendros, Hospital Virgen de la Caridad.

The practical phase aims to complement the theoretical training will receive each of the participants in the program, providing work experience in a business environment, so that these practices have been favorably reviewed by both partner companies as the students.

Moreover, on September 28 will begin the third phase of this Project Labor, being the date of registration from 7 to 11 this month.

For this third phase, the courses will be offered 'dining service for children and elderly', 'geriatric care for elderly dependents' and 'trading assistant'.
