La Mar de Músicas collected in a CD-book the best Moroccan music (16/07/2009)

The head of the Sea Music Festival, Paco Martin, today announced the compilation CD-book edition is currently taking place in Cartagena, dedicated to Moroccan music, which includes a selection of the participating groups developed by the facilitator cultural and president of the Manufacturers Association of Cultural Ideas, Rubén Caravaca.

To the music of artists involved in this year's festival dedicated to Morocco, accompanied by a text that analyzes the Moroccan musical evolution from the 70's to today including comprehensive information and song, along with photographs, each of the artists who have spoken Maghreb: H-Kayne, OUM, Driss El Maloumi, Darga, Chekara Orchestra of Tetouan, Najat Aatabou, the Ghiwane Nass, Khadija the Ouarzazi B'net Houariyat of Marrakech, the Gadari Abdendi Maalem , Gnawa Bambara, Jil Jilala, DJ Key, Fez City Clan, U-cef.

Highlights on the compilation an unreleased track, emerged from a meeting between Toteking, H-Kayne and Oum, mixing urban music of Spain and Morocco and, for the first time, is included on a disk.

The project, as has been happening since 2007, has been supported by the Spanish Agency for International Development (AECI), for his contribution to enhancing the contribution of culture in economic development by promoting business and cultural and creative industries.

This record book works with independent companies, not multinationals, and that the goal is to help start-ups.

According to Paco Martin, this is a compilation to enjoy and learn the Moroccan musical environment, but also a commitment to look to our neighbors without prejudice or subterfuge.

If we better understand the different realities through it and the rest of activities in the festival, we are fulfilling one of our objectives, understanding cultural diversity as one of the appropriate frameworks that closer to our peoples and individuals.

In addition to FNAC stores throughout Spain, the CD-book is available in Cartagena in Hard Carrots and concerts of La Mar de Músicas.
