The Mayor, Pilar sweep, has welcomed the 51 children aged between 6 and 13 years from Refugee Camps in Algeria Saharawi people, who spend the summer in Cartagena with host families.
The first municipal authority have been destabilizing the children a happy stay in Cartagena, it has become a family photo and gave them some bags with gifts to each of them.

During the reception, which took place at the Palace Hall, small respetivas were accompanied by their host families, the Delegate of the Saharawi people in the Region of Murcia and the President of the Association of Friends of the Saharawi people in Cartagena.
A total of 153 Saharawi children who have arrived to the region, of which 51 will be in Cartagena, repeating the same family 29 years earlier.
