Dozens of children are engaged these days in the Colonies Musical implemented for the sixth consecutive year by the Department of Education to reconcile work and family life of parents and more pleasant summer hours to smaller house .
Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, has gone this morning at the Colonial Music classes in one of two centers that are developing, CEIP Garden City and San Isidro and Santa Florentina.
As Josefa said Maroto, Musical Colonies will last two weeks, until 15 July, from 9:00 to 13:00 h, divided into two groups, one of 4-5 years and another 6 to 11.
There is also the possibility of a theater optional workshop from 13 to 14 hours.
This year, the Department of Education has offered 514 places for Summer School Musical colonies, two of the educational and leisure activities most in demand by families.
