One of the world's largest cruise ship, Grand Princess, an authentic floating hotel about 300 meters long, will call for the first time in Cartagena, on Wednesday, April 29, with 2,600 tourists on board, mostly English.
The cruise is scheduled to dock at the terminal of the marina about seven o'clock and stay until four in the afternoon.
The Department of Tourism of the City of Cartagena has provided the usual operating in these cases, staff who attend to the foot of ladder information demands of tourists and distributed brochures on attractions and services offered by the city.
As recoder Cartagena plans this year to accommodate 70,000 tourists on board 55 cruise, which has led to the Port Authority to double the current docking area whose works will be forthcoming.
