The director of the Institute for Youth, Veronica Lopez, accompanied by the Mayor of the City of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, and the councilman of Youth, Javier Herrero, inaugurated this morning the X edition of the Youth Association of Cartagena, where this year develop more than 150 activities, of which 30 will be ongoing throughout the event.
The fair, which is being held until this Sunday, April 19, on the esplanade of the Port, with the participation of 69 entities between youth groups, institutions and centers of Secondary Education.
53 exhibitors have been installed and three tents dedicated to Alternative Recreation Program, 'T-LA' and the project 'Ideas', with activities organized by schools of Secondary and scout groups.
Veronica Lopez said, "This meeting promotes youth associations, exchange of ideas and projects among the different groups, besides being a way to make known to the activities of society."
The Youth Institute is involved through the Youth Card program, and during the fair will be carried out free cards to young people aged 14 to 30 years, which will benefit from significant discounts on facilities, services, sports and leisure establishments in Spain and Europe.
The data roaming service 'Info van' will also be present to broadcast the proceedings and activities of the Youth Institute.
Next to the Fair Youth Associations, and for the second consecutive year, will be held on Youth Market in the Plaza of the Heroes of Cavite, with different positions of self-produced crafts.
Also, this weekend, the Sexuality Information Counseling Youth Space's Youth Youth Council, convened by the Regional Competition of Erotic Stories for young people aged between 14 and 30.
