conducted last week, during the 9th to March 12th, exercises and rescue people in collapsed structures in areas of the region of Cartagena, previously elected to perform these exercises.

Have involved approximately 150 soldiers of the Military, who have collaborated with the Fire of Cartagena and the Canine Unit of the Region of Murcia.

Fire Cartagena, two officers, Luis Enrique Martínez Rivero and José Joaquín Ruiz Zamora, training and involvement in search and rescue in collapsed structures, was guided by the scenarios proposed for maneuvering, and have participated as instructors.

For its part, the Canine Unit of the Region of Murcia also intervened directly in the training of locations of buried victims.

These preparatory exercises have a drill in the future then be possibly carried out this year and which run the SISISMUR emergency plan for cases of earthquake, and thus the chain of actions required to bring along the EMU in coordination with other rescue forces called upon to act as Fire Cartagena and the aforementioned canine unit, in a case of massive collapse of buildings.
