Limit 18 shorts contest for children under 18 (27/02/2009)

The Youth Council of the City of Cartagena offers a new initiative to secondary schools within the IDEAS program, with the aim of enabling young high school students participating in the Festival of Young Talents 'Mucho Mas Mayo' by through audiovisual production.

Limit 18, the first contest of short films under 18 years within the Cartagena IV Short week.

The films submitted must not exceed 15 minutes, will be free subject: fiction, animation, documentary and video art, and every secondary school in the municipality of Cartagena may submit as many short as you want.

Of all the films presented three finalists will be selected to be screened in the Short week in Cartagena, which will take place from 19 to 22 May 2009.

Of the three will be elected the winner of the contest I Limit 18, whose identity will be known on Friday, May 8, 2009.

The school will be awarded audiovisual material worth 1000 euros, and for participating students, 100 tickets for the movies (or Park Mandarache Mediterranean).

The date of completion of the work will be after January 1, 2008, which will be submitted in digital format (DVD) and all students who made the short must be under 18 at the time of registration.
