Coinciding with the start of Lent, Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, has given the traditional side facades, to encourage outdoor beautification of homes and buildings with a view to Easter.
Through this resolution, the City understands all licenses granted to works consisting of cleaning and decoration of buildings throughout the term, exempting citizens of their application.
This measure seeks to promote and facilitate the execution of works on the walls considered minor, to improve its aesthetics.
To do this, individuals who want to make some of these tasks can do so at this time without having to ask permission in town.
The side clear, however, that to benefit from the measure, the work shall be completed by April 3, Feast of Good Friday.
It also warns that fall outside this exemption those works on facades of listed buildings, to be followed by a special administrative authorization procedures established by law.
