The author of the book, Charles Ludlam (New York, 1943-1987) was an actor and showman with a tremendous facility for something as difficult as making people laugh wisely.

His most famous work The Vamp Ira mystery than usual paths to enter simple parody rants in the field of comic surrealism.

There is never a joke or a mockery of fear or melodrama but I would say, a glowing tribute to a very clear result: to make you laugh without asking in return that are or have been, fans of the genre.

Even if so much better.

With a history as the latest Mel Brooks Young Frankenstein, Ludlam goes far beyond getting in Manderlay, the mansion, not just a surprising new love is key, but a female Dracula, a mummy, a werewolf children, mixed in a series of situations designed perfectly for the two actors make two of the most difficult I have ever witnessed.

In The Mystery of Ira Vamp all the characters are portrayed by two actors in a play of multiple costume changes fast.
