The Carnival Committee has proposed this year to disguise the crisis and make it all go on the streets of Cartagena and enjoy the festivities with joy and imagination.

To help organize the festivities, Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by the Councillor of Celebration, Florentina Garcia Vargas, has given this morning by the grant awarded annually to the city of Cartagena to the Carnival.

In this edition, the economic data has been maintained over the previous year at 130,000 euros.

The chairman of the Committee of Carnival, Carmen Sanchez, said the enormous financial effort made by groups and bands brand costumes each year and thus make the Carnival of Cartagena is different year after year.
