Transferred to Severo Ochoa various protected species of Angel Bruna (29/01/2009)

Operators of a company specializing in transplants, has moved on these days many copies of palms, dragon trees, cactus and Tetraclinis articulata, from its previous location in Bruna Angel Street (at the entrance of the Children's Traffic Park) to its new location in a new green space and parking spaces being created on the backs of the old school Carmen Conde, near the roundabout of Severo Ochoa.

The work has been supervised by technicians from the municipal park and gardens, as it was protected species.

The operation involved the removal with their roots and encepellonado each of the copies, and have lasted from Monday until Wednesday.

Specifically, nine groups have transplanted hearts of palm chameops humilis, other new trachicorpus, seven dragon, four and two cactus Tetraclinis articulata.

According to sources explained to the Department of Infrastructure, this move had been requested by residents who wanted to be given a uniform treatment to the entire side of the street, building refurbishment works.

The same sources have indicated that are close to completing these works and the new setting on the back of the old school Carmen Conde, have a garden and a parking for about 80 vehicles.

It so happens that these species had already been previously moved from the old rise to the Hospital of the Sea Wall at Children's Traffic Park, because of suppression as a result of the rehabilitation of the Wall.
