Arrested a minor for armed robbery in the park of Los Juncos (04/12/2008)

On Monday December 1st, members of the local police in Cartagena arrested a minor, age 14, for alleged armed robbery in the park of Reeds.

The incident occurred around 18.15 hours, a local police patrol was commissioned by the Chamber of the 092 to be directed to the Parque de Los Juncos, where a boy apparently had stolen a watch with a knife.

Once in place, agents interviewed the boy's mother, who told agents that her son at the scene, had stolen a watch with a razor intimidated by a person of Moroccan nationality, providing agents a detailed description of that individual and also stating that the watch was stolen Timberl brand, with black rubber strap and white dial.

Furthermore, the lower the agents also said that the same person, the perpetrator identified, a few days ago had been rushed from behind to give him everything I had, taking him by the arm tightly, letting go to see that he had nothing of value.

The agents proceeded to give a whipped through the area in order to locate the offender, this being unsuccessful.

About 19.00 hours, when officers were conducting surveillance functions Jara street, observed a person whose description was fully in line with that provided by the reported theft, so they proceeded to identify them, lacking any type of documentation and carrying in his right hand a clock that fully matched the description provided by the child victim of the act.

The agents then moved the child to the police station and once there the mother and child victims of theft and fully recognized without any doubt as the perpetrator of the robbery in question, so that the officers proceeded to detain the child.
