149 000 euros to mark trails and put GR-92 (28/11/2008)

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Autonomous Region and the Municipal Services of the City of Cartagena Litoral invest 149,000 euros in mark and put up various sections of the hiking route GR-92 as it passes through the town of Cartagena.

Cartagena 89.3 km contributes to this network of pedestrian trails that radiate other short routes, PR MU-Cartagena, which pass close to the coast and are recognized by the white markings and red.

Some of the sections are old farm roads, coastal trails memory of pirates and smugglers, or ancient routes used in Roman times.

The tasks of signaling and repair sections of this path will be different, and along its entire length from the border with the municipality of Los Alcazares Mazarron, including places like the mountains of Fausilla or Rambla del Canar .
