The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro and the Minister of Culture, Pedro Alberto Cruz, this morning visited the two main rooms of the recently refurbished Casino de Cartagena, two rooms whose balconies overlooking the main street and is situated on the main floor .
The two rooms, a reading which was subsequently chess, and another called 'triplet', have been rehabilitated by a value of 120,000 euros, provided by the regional government and the private sector.

The recovery of these two rooms is included within the proposed comprehensive reform of the building, which emphasizes the rehabilitation of the Imperial Staircase, which is ready for this next year.
The Casino de Cartagena is located in the "Palacio Casa Tilly, whose construction is dated from the XVIII century and was renovated in the late nineteenth century.
