The Mediterranean and sports complex to open its doors (31/10/2008)

The Mediterranean sports complex will open its doors on Monday with all the guarantees of safety and quality of facilities, following the decision of the Local Government Board to give approval to the completion of works.

The city spokesman, Joaquin Segado, explained at the end of the meeting of the Governing Board that the municipal officers have checked the work performed and the valuation of the same, although the opening decision will, ultimately, the concessionaire but hopes to be soon.

It will be recalled if the municipality fails to pay any amount to the company that builds the installation will be managed and operate for a period of 40 years, in which repay the investment costs through user fees.

Hence the interest of the City and technicians to work carried out were correct, as their valuation.

Mowing has indicated that the concessionaire will decide when to open finally.

Among other issues on the agenda have been discussed in the Governing Council stresses the investment of € 60,000 to carry out various actions to improve energy efficiency in public buildings.

Specifically, these actions will be aimed at improving the distribution stations to maximize the electricity and the replacement of traditional light bulbs with low-energy and the installation of detectors.

These measures are carried out in principle in the cultural center Luzzy Ramón Alonso.

This measure is included within the budget savings bread launched by the City Council a few weeks ago.

STUDY AREA EAST OF MONTE DE LA CONCEPCION
