The government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, currently developing throughout their working day in Cartagena, where this morning he visited the company Navantia, which has held meetings with the former management team and the council.

Tovar Gonzalez said after the meetings he had wanted his first visit as a government delegate to a company outside Navantia precisely "by the symbolic nature of it in Cartagena" and its importance both regionally and nationally.

Recalling its long history, with more than 250 years, the government delegate said that Navantia is a leading company within the naval sector and constant technological innovation ", which is unquestionable proof S-80, which the world is at the forefront as regards the construction of submarines.

Because of its technological competitiveness, González Tovar stressed that the Cartagena factory of the company "has secured its workload until 2016, which is a guarantee of future."

The Government delegate thanked the director of the shipyard, Manuel Jaime Filgueira, and his management team the reception given him and has offered to support the continuing transformation and development of the company.

As indicated, González Tovar has also met with the committee Navantia for his vision of it.

As previously reported, Gonzalez Tovar other meetings will continue this week in Cartagena (headquarters of Maritime).

The first of these meetings is maintained with Fulgencio Sánchez Fuentes, Urvimas Neighborhood Association, Los Urrutias, at 17.00, while Leandro Martínez Sánchez, Federation of Neighborhood Associations, Consumers and Users of the Shire Cartagena, will meet at 17'45.
