The Department of Education of the City of Cartagena, with Chopin Studio, is doing during this first half of July, the fifth Colonies Musical "Music Yes."
For this, the Chopin Studio team uses some of the activities that are more attractive to children, such as playing, drawing, music, mime, play, dance, etc.
They learn to identify, interpret and live with classical music with a fun, participatory, practical and positive results.
The main objectives are to work through the artistic sensibility of classical music and create a workshop during the holidays that enables the school to develop his musical.
The repertoire includes works from the Baroque to the present day.
Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Albéniz, Joaquín Rodrigo ...
are some of the old masters elected.
The purpose of these Colonies Music is not theoretical but begin to enjoy the music, laughing with her, working the artistic sensibility.
Ultimately that children can participate in a complete and comprehensive music program.
These colonies are taught Music by professional musicians with degrees in Physical Education and staff of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena.
The place where you are making these Colonies Musical are CEIP CEIP Garden City and the Virgen del Carmen, Monday to Friday and from 09:00 to 13:00, and an optional workshop from 13:00 to theater 14:00.
As a culmination to this activity will be held at the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy a performance for parents, 14 and 15 July at 18:00 hours, where you can appreciate the work done by children during the fortnight .
This is the fifth edition of the Colonies, which are aimed at a total of 150 children aged 4 to 11 years, with two groups, one of 4 to 5 years and another 6 to 11 years.
