Rosell Meseguer has invented reality of the city of the Seine Demande de consultation, concessions poetic Paris (07/07/2008)

Rosell Meseguer Mayoral (Orihuela, 1976) lives and works between Madrid and Santiago de Chile.

Their attraction to the worlds of underground and coastal environments since childhood began with a visit to a mine of Cartagena with his father.

Then came an art class in the old city and a subsequent training at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid.

The vision of Paris that brings Rosell Meseguer La Mar de Músicas is written with the same language.

His mastery of materials and new graphic techniques has not made him fall into the trap of turning his work into a cold, but works those skills to reinforce that idea that images have fair skin and that they can add warmth and feelings surrounding them with objects that provide their own identity and history.

Rosell Meseguer returns to the city where he learned to look with a portrait of Paris made of images, textures and sensations.

Concessions poetic about Paris will be showcased at the Cultural Center Cajamurcia, from 7 to 31 July.

A set of real images reinvented, is the interpretation of the other cities that coexist with the Paris tourist known.

It is inhabited by other cities, the underground, the metro and the Paris sewer égouts called them, the artificial nature of the park as a romantic and created out of nothing: Buttes Chaumont, La Defense, business city, day rooms for business and negotiators, the anonymous ... that reminds us another and another and so on.

Reinterpreted in the city centers and peripheries, based on photographic documentation, postcards, books and travel books, based on patriotic postcard, those of the early twentieth century where society aunaba and aesthetics.

The project starts on the journey that few know today because of the immediacy and speed of air travel, the train from Madrid and arrives at the station d'Austerlitz in Paris near the Seine.
