The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, now almost a year of government at City Hall in the last parliament and wanted to look at what his administration is doing in the city, in compliance with program guidelines election campaign defended .

Precisely this effort budget this year is double the resources and personnel for monitoring and cleaning beaches.

Another example is in the urban transport during this first year of the legislature has ensured that the maximum waiting time of a bus is 15 minutes in six major urban routes, besides starting line and renew Mediterranean Park and expand the fleet with the acquisition of thirteen vehicles, implementing the electronic bus pass and free transfer.

In this vein, last summer acquired 34 new vehicles and 1,500 containers to improve street cleaning and refuse collection, with an investment of 5.5 billion euros.
