The SEF has approved projects and Small Infants Hostel, close to two million euros, which will form the unemployed under 25 years of specialty masonry, plumbing and electricity, and over 25 years, child care providers

The City of Cartagena, through the Agency of Local Development and Employment (ALDE), has obtained from the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the Autonomous Community of the project approval of the Workshop School 'Hostel' and Workshop Employment 'Small Infants II', with total funding of 1,932,262 euros.

Workshop School 'Hostel' is intended to form a total of 45 unemployed people under 25 years in the fields of masonry, gardening, carpentry and installations (plumbing and electricity).

In a first phase, six months of training, students will be recipients, subsequently being hired throughout the year and a half remaining.

The project implementation team will consist of a director, a display of basic training, five monitors of different specialties and an administrative assistant.

The work to be done is located in the Occupational Training Center Quarries, and consist of carrying out the work of foundations, bearing walls, concrete structure, tiled flooring, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and gardening, to to create a service area for the Youth Hostel installed at the Centre and meet the needs of the other assembly facilities and the adequacy of the grounds around the hostel by the actions of gardening workshop.

For the implementation of the draft School Workshop, which will last two years, has two ways of financing, on the one hand the municipal contribution, amounting to 90,000 euros, and, secondly, the contribution of the SEF, of 1,168,194.74 euros.

Regarding the employment workshop 'Small Infants II', is aimed at training alternating with work of 32 unemployed people over 25 years specializing in children's caregivers.

The team that will be available for the project will comprise a director, two monitors in early childhood education specialist and an administrative assistant.

This action is carried out a series of goods and services in line with the implementation of training plan for the specialty of child care providers through the work to be done in the following municipal nursery school: Bambi EIM, EIM Virgen de la Caridad, EIM La Concepción, EIM La Milagrosa, Villalba EIM, EIM What Campano, EIM Los Mateos, EIM EIM Barrio Peral and Vista Alegre.

For the implementation of this project, which will last one year has double funding on the one hand the municipal contribution amounting to 10,000 euros and the other, the contribution of the SEF of 664,067.19 euros.
