Morocco will be the guest country at the 2009 edition of the festival La Mar de Músicas.

The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, made the announcement during a presentation at Cartagena in the final schedule of the fourteenth edition of this festival, which takes place from 5 to 26 July in various locations around the port city, which is actor invited the neighboring country, France.
