Colleagues program held its end of year (16/06/2008)

Colleagues Program closes for holidays and to celebrate the end of the course took place last Saturday at the forecourt of a series of workshops Puerto representative of the activities that have been conducted throughout the year, which is encouraging obejtivo intercultural coexistence of adolescents and youth.

In this activity, which was attended by the aldermen of Social Care, Antonio Calderon, Sports, Alonso Gómez, Education, Josefa Maroto, and Youth, Javier Herrero, involved young people from the county council of El Algar and neighborhoods of San Anton, Private Mediterranean and New Cartagena.

The morning was developed with playful workshops within DIVERTIRAMA.08 activity, and subsequently held a dance by the group of Body Language and Rhythm and Percussion display.

After a day of activities, the council present, handed over the diplomas and commemorative T-shirts to all attendees.

All the youth group shared a picnic lunch, returning to their respective locations in buses.

PEER Programme workshops for this course have been developed since October 2007 until June 2008, addressing the activities for teenagers and young adults between 10 and 18 years living in San Anton, Private Mediterranean, New Carthage, and El Algar.

During this course have been conducted workshops Football, Volleyball, Body and Rhythm through Folk and sports activities, Percussion and World Music, Theater and Graffiti.

With this activity, the program suspends COLLEAGUES workshops during the summer, inviting the young participants and the new youth who wish to register, to continue in the coming month of October.
