Ten agents from social partners of the Association of Unemployed People over 40 (PM40) will begin its work in compliance with the bylaws and monitoring of public goods from tomorrow Thursday.

This morning was the official presentation in the park of Reeds, one of the places where they usually exercise their work.

As explained by Enrique Pérez Abellán, alderman of Public Roads and Public Safety, the ten collaborating agents act in a total of six broad areas of Cartagena, virtually the entire town.

Your work schedule will be 9 to 13 and from 17 to 20 hours from Monday to Friday.

Saturday exercised its work in municipal parks (de la Rosa, of Reeds, the Cartagonova ") in the afternoon.

These ten agents will list all daily occurrences to be picking up in activity, either visually or by citizens, and transferred to the various relevant services (traffic, gardens, street lighting ") for correction.

The recruitment of these ten people is done through an agreement with the Association of Unemployed People over 40 years, with a budget end of the year of 175,000 euros.

There will be a trial period of six months and if the result is satisfactory, the number of agents may be increased according to need.

Abellán Pérez pointed out that in other cities like Almeria, Roquetas de Mar and Malaga this initiative has been underway for some time and it works perfectly.

For its part, the national president of the PM40, Antonio Espinosa, Cartagena said that 300 people are affiliated to the association, nearly 30,000 in Spain.

Nationally, the association has managed to employ about 800 people as social agents and 500, as 'calm'.

The PM40 is responsible for developing a job consists of members from different academic and professional profiles, which offers local and regional companies for possible recruitment.
