The Municipal Institute of Social Services has organized the second edition of the Fair for the Elderly, under the slogan 'majors with activity' and this year will take place on 18, 19 and 20 April in the spring Alfonso XII.
All institutions and companies that want to participate in the fair must notify the Municipal Institute of Social Services, before 26 March at the Miracle Building 2nd floor or in your 968128826/51 information.
The Fair aims to cover those areas (health, cultural, leisure) that may be of interest to older people both in public and private sector through companies that facilitate the improvement of quality of life of our elders.
The contents of these fields will be developed through stands, showing the resources and services that older people can access and a large sample of activities that show that they contribute greatly to our society.
This year the fair will stand 'Greater solidarity', where older who participated in the workshops of free time at the Municipal Institute of Social Services will sell crafts that have selflessly made in the workshops.
Similarly, for solidarity, will be sold in a large dining tent typical products of the field of Cartagena, prepared by our elders.
All activities carried out during these three days will develop them elderly: drama, gangs, street musicians, choirs and dance, traditional games for children, demonstrations of traditional crafts, etc.
In parallel, develop a series of lectures where topics of interest to seniors, such as healthy aging, training, prevention of dependency.
