The publisher now, specializing in issues of Bibliophile, has been responsible, in collaboration with the Culture Department of the City of Cartagena, the publication of the work Carmen Conde.
Twenty artists, eighty poems, an anthology made by Professor Javier Diez de Revenga, a member of the board that manages the legacy of Cartagena writer and her husband, Antonio Oliver.
The selection of poems has been developed over more than twenty works of Carmen Conde, since his first book published (Curbstone, 1927), until his latest collection of poems (The pain forced, 1984), not to mention poems from his most celebrated works (Craving Grace, 1945, or Women without Eden, 1947).
The anthology is accompanied by twenty original screenprints Murcia artists who, inspired by the figure and the work of Carmen Conde, have illustrated the work brilliantly, becoming true visual poems.
These artists are: Veronica Navarro, Alondra Bentley, Angela Mula, Concha Martinez Barreto, Paulina Real, Ana Martínez, Eva Poyato, Katarzina Rogowicz, Sivia Viñao, Lola Navarro, Carmen Baena, Carmen Navarro, Perla Strong, Lola Fernandez Arcas, Rosa Martínez -Artero, Mercedes Alberdi, Rosa Vivanco, Miwako Yamaguchi, Carmen Artigas and Chelete Monereo.
It is therefore a work that adds value to have the poems and the prints, other value added is the 'woman' as the protagonist of both creations.
The editing features are already known from the publisher for the rest of his works, a large book (45x32 cm.) Original screen prints hand signed in pencil by the author and numbered by the editor and a very elegant qualities as the paper used, binding and printing.
The book launch will take place on Friday, April 18 at 19:30 hours at the Palace Hall.
