The French, the 'colony' largest among Erasmus UPCT this semester (10/02/2016)

The Polytechnic University of Cartagena has today welcomed 127 international students who have come to the UPCT to pursue the second quarter of this year.

A hundred of them benefit from a European mobility program Erasmus, while 25 are from Latin America.

In total this year, the Polytechnic of Cartagena receives 240 students from international mobility programs, an increase of those from Latin America.

The largest nationality of Erasmus is French, followed by the Polish and Mexican.

There are students from 22 countries.

This contingent of international students this year thirty young Indians, in the second edition of a training program specially designed for this country, the world's leading exporter of college students will also be added.

Strengthening internationalization in the UPCT also includes dozens of Italians who each year benefiting from a program for a master's degree in universities of Campus Mare Nostrum Central and students studying a Masters in Earthquake Engineering taught in Dominican Republic by professors from the Polytechnic of Cartagena.

The ceremony welcoming the Erasmus attended by the Vice Chancellor for Internationalisation, Jose Manuel Ferrandez, and new CEO of Community Colleges, Juan Monzó.
