Marinella Terzi opens the cycle of literary meetings Hache Award 2016 (09/02/2016)

The Catalan writer Marinella Terzi will visit Cartagena on 10 and 11 February to hold several meetings with readers who participate as a juror in the eighth edition of the Youth Literature Prize Hache.

Terzi is a candidate for the prize with his novel False Still Life (Edelvives, 2012), a story that claims the representation of women in art.

On Wednesday February 10 at 17:00 maintain an exclusive meeting with young people from the Intercultural Center for Children. The next day, Thursday 11th in the morning visit the IES Isaac Peral and 11.00 will present his novel at the traditional meeting with 600 high school students in the auditorium of the UPCT.

Previously, at 10:30 am the author will address the questions of the press in the Board Room of the UPCT.

Marinella Terzi is part of the history of children's literature of our country.

For 21 years he was editor of SM, where he led the legendary Steamer collection.

The writer is the first finalist Hache Award visiting Cartagena.

In late February it will be the turn of Patricia Garcia-Rojo Canton and later, Ana Alcolea in March.

Hache Award was born in 2009 with the aim of forming readership among the population aged 12 to 14 years, with the same formula that Mandarache Prize jury massive readership but with juvenile literature. In this edition, the eighth, was have registered 1,704 readers spread over 284 reading committees.
