Alterations traffic this weekend for Carnival and a cycling race (04/02/2016)

The activides that this weekend will be going on the occasion of Carnival and the celebration of a cycling race in the vicinity of the city alter the flow of traffic.

Therefore, the agents of the local police in Cartagena call on citizens to exercise extreme caution and slow down in areas close to the events.

CARNIVAL

The first call of the agents begins tomorrow Friday on the occasion of the activities planned for Carnival.

The second event in which agents urge caution is the Grand Carnival Parade will take place on Saturday 6th at 18:00.

Police say approximately 1 hour before the traffic is cut in the following way and giving access to them:

Alameda de San Anton, towards Plaza of Spain, from the Plaza de Maria Cristina to it.

Plaza of Spain in its natural direction of flow of access to Paseo de Alfonso XIII.

Paseo Alfonso XIII in both directions from the intersection of Angel Bruna street to the Plaza of Spain.

Calle Juan Fernandez, stretch between the Paseo de Alfonso XIII and the Plaza de Juan XXIII.

The rest of the parade route runs along pedestrian streets, Calle Santa Florentina, Carmen Street, Street Tolosa Latour, street Sagasta, Icue, Puertas de Murcia, Plaza de San Sebastian Street and Town Hall Square where it will end.

Finally, the third event that will alter the traffic will be the fourth stage of the cycling race XXVI Social Interclub Trophy field Cartagena-Mar Menor.
