The Region of Murcia, pioneering projects for the digital transformation of industries (27/01/2016)

MURCIA Industry 4.0 The day has met in the lounge of degrees of Telecommunications School persons with responsibility for industrial management or executive positions that seek to lead your company into the i nnovation, transformation and adoption of new models.

the director of Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia, Javier Celdrán;

and the rector of the UPCT Jose Antonio Franco, as these institutions are the organizers of the conference, along with the Technology Center for Energy and the Environment.

The purpose of this conference is the implementation of new technologies in industry and the identification of sources and opportunities for regional, national and European funding. Javier Celdrán stressed that the Murcia region is positioned, together with the Basque Country and Galicia, policies developed as a pioneer in the digitization of the industrial environment in this process is known as the Industrial Revolution IV.

In the words of the rector, Jose Antonio Franco, these days concern the Industry 4.0, a topical issue of great relevance to business and industry both in Spain and in the region.

He has said that we must keep in mind that new concepts are discussed, and not only the introduction of new technologies to enterprises but a digital tem c industrial activity.

Ana Belen Castejon, who was accompanied by the Councillor for Industry, Obdulia Gómez, stressed that this event has been held in Cartagena, where industry and commitment to R & D + i, also hand the region.

AID PROGRAMME INDUSTRY 4.0

During this event also it presented the Regional Aid Programme MURCIA Industry 4.0. As director of the Institute of Development, Javier Celdrán explained that this is a program that is endowed with one million euros and is open to companies in industrial sector who want to implement technological innovation projects related to digitization.

It is aimed, therefore, to encourage the development of industrial enterprises in the Region of Murcia in technological projects that consist of the actual introduction of digital technologies in the industry.

With grants of up to 50%, this call is intended to enable the media to companies and entrepreneurs count on support for their projects.

Projects that include the following three categories are eligible:

- Connecting the physical world with the digital-to enable communication and data-processing to facilitate the intelligent operations management and collaborative work with other companies

The notice period for projects ends on February 29.
