The house where he was born Isaac Peral becomes part of the heritage of the city (21/12/2015)

The City of Cartagena has acquired Monday, officially, the house that gave birth to the marine and inventor from Cartagena Isaac Peral, once the mayor, Jose Lopez, and the building owners (Antonia Segado Bolumar and children) have signed the purchase agreement.

The sale, which notarial act took place in the office of the Town Hall Isaac Peral, has been estimated at 64,977 euros.

Recall that the Local Government Board, at its meeting on 20 November, agreed to a proposal by the mayor, the acquisition by purchase of the birthplace of Isaac Peral, thus preventing its deterioration.

Thus, the City will provide for municipal use an estate with level 3 protection.

The property (alley Zorrilla, No. 3), consisting of ground floor master and second, becomes part of the municipal heritage.

The acquisition is especially relevant for its great historical value, since it is the place where the famous Cartagena was born.
